Giving Tuesday has this amazing program called Giving Tuesday Spark that is all about kids. Ashley was chosen as a Spark Chapter Leader and decided to bring a group of like-minded individuals together to spread generosity around the community. As a group since January 2021 they have held a kindness costs nothing campaign, made cards of encouragement for foster care children, created art kits, held a summer of service challenge, created valentines day cards, participated in a generosity challenge, and helped during the nationwide outerwear drive hosted by Sargeant’s Army. Sargeant's Army has also given a few of its Spark Members the Congressional Service Award.
Giving Tuesday is about giving back; and we are going to do so it a BIG way. We are running a nationwide outerwear drive led by youth with a goal to have representation in all 50 states. All you need to do is donate a hat, scarf, gloves or a jacket to a local organization and let us know about it...you can send photos to be included in our social media. The link below takes you to our online volunteer form for the Small Acts Add Up Outerwear Drive. We would love for you to join us and help show the world that small acts add up and wehn we come together we can change the world!
