This year we hosted the first annual No Soldier Left Behind Project. Our goal was to provide an outerwear kit that consists of a jacket, hat, scarf, gloves, a fast-food gift card and if they have a dog, a bag of dog food to all 50 states and DC. We are proud to report that this year we got 800 outerwear kits, 500 hygiene kits, and 200 dog kits to Veterans in need in all 50 states + DC! Learn more by clicking the link below!
Since our creation, we have been dedicated to provide as much hope, kindness and compassion possible. Watch us grow up from our very first Hope bag to our 30,000th Hope bag. Thank you to each and every Sargeant’s Army supporter who has supported us these past 6 years. We are SO grateful for you. The work isn’t done yet… let’s get 30,000 more Hope bags in the hands of people who need them.

At the age of 11, our founder, Ashley Nevison, saw a need for an organization that was driven to make a better world for the next generation. She loves to sew, so in honor of her cat Sargeant, who died of cancer earlier that year, she decided to found Sargeant's Army to provide homemade cat toys and blankets for shelter animals.
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, she was asked to use her skills to make masks for front line workers, healthcare providers and the homeless youth in Arizona;. As a result she saw first hand the struggles that these kids go through. She also saw that there were very few organizations whose mission was focused on kids, so she expanded Sargeant's Army's mission to help people struggling with the challenges of homelessness.
We are focused on making the maximum positive impact in our community by providing food and basic necessities to the homeless and economically disadvantaged population. We primarily focus on homeless youth.
We continue to honor Ashley's initial desire to help shelter animals with homemade toys and blankets, as that was our first mission.
