This GivingTuesday, be part of a nationwide movement of kindness by joining the Small Acts Add Up Outerwear Drive. Our goal is simple but powerful: representation from all 50 states + D.C., led by youth, families, and communities who believe that warmth should be accessible to everyone.
To make participating easier than ever, Sargeant’s Army now offers a full Drive Host Toolkit with downloadable resources—everything you need to run your own outerwear drive with confidence.
How to Get Involved
1. Host a Drive in Your Community OR Donate Yourself
Download our free Google Drive toolkit filled with posters, checklists, social media graphics, sample announcements, and step‑by‑step instructions.
2. Collect Winter Essentials
Hats, scarves, gloves, jackets—new or gently used items are welcome. Every piece of outerwear becomes a small act of kindness that adds up to life‑changing warmth.
3. Donate Locally
Deliver your collected items to any shelter, school, or nonprofit serving individuals in need in your area.
4. Submit Your Impact
Use our online volunteer form to let us know you participated. Upload photos so we can celebrate your contribution and inspire others across the country.
Together, we’ll show the world that small acts add up—and when we unite in generosity, we can warm the nation.
