Bernheim Forest, founded in 1929 by Isaac Bernheim, is dedicated to "connecting people with nature." Over nearly 100 years, Bernheim has stayed true to this mission, protecting the wildness of the forest while offering engaging outdoor experiences. Producing over 102 billion pounds of oxygen annually, the forest enhances creativity and improves physical and mental health. At 95 years old, Bernheim thrives, offering a wide range of activities. It is open daily from 7 a.m. to sunset. 

Mammoth Cave National Park in central Kentucky boasts the world's longest cave system, with over 400 miles of explored passages. Established in 1941, the park spans 52,830 acres of diverse landscapes including forests, hills, and the Green River. It features stunning cave formations like stalactites and stalagmites, as well as unique wildlife such as eyeless cave fish and Indiana bats. Visitors can enjoy guided cave tours, hiking, camping, and kayaking. The park offers educational exhibits and a range of activities suitable for all adventure levels.

 Cumberland Falls, located in Cumberland Falls State Resort Park in southeastern Kentucky, is often called the "Niagara of the South." This stunning waterfall, 68 feet tall and 125 feet wide, is famous for its impressive volume and beautiful surroundings. A unique feature of Cumberland Falls is the "moonbow," a rare nighttime rainbow visible on clear, full moon nights. The park offers hiking, bird watching, fishing, and camping, making it a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers.
